Procurement Coordinator/Buyer

Job Type Full-time Pay $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Purchasing Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in Lubbock, Texas. This position will play a key role in managing purchasing operations, vendor relationships, material sourcing, and cost control for our supply and operations division. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in procurement, purchasing, inventory, and vendor management within industrial, construction, oilfield, or supply environments. Responsibilities Source and procure materials, supplies, and equipment Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing Compare quotes and maintain cost-effective purchasing strategies Issue and track purchase orders Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor files Coordinate with operations and management regarding material needs Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved purchasing efficiency Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve vendor issues Assist with pricing analysis and material forecasting Qualifications 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience preferred Experience in industrial, construction, oilfield, or supply environments strongly preferred Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Knowledge of materials, equipment, and purchasing processes Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and purchasing/inventory systems Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Growth opportunities Stable full-time position Professional work environment
