We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented On-Site Purchasing Agent to support daily purchasing and procurement operations. This position plays an important role in ensuring materials, supplies, and services are ordered accurately and delivered on time to support production and operational needs. This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level purchasing professional who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working with vendors and internal departments in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and process purchase orders with suppliers and vendors Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material availability Track orders and follow up on deliveries to help maintain production schedules Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, shipments, and discrepancies Maintain purchasing records, vendor files, and procurement documentation Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving departments Assist with purchasing analysis, reporting, and workflow support Help identify opportunities to improve purchasing and procurement processes Support compliance with company procedures and quality standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or related experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to work effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams Preferred Experience Manufacturing or industrial purchasing environment Planning or scheduling experience Knowledge of ISO 9001 or quality systems Experience with purchasing or ERP systems What We Offer Competitive pay Benefits package Stable and team-oriented work environment Opportunity for growth and continued development We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and ready to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
