Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will drive the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain management processes to ensure the timely acquisition of quality materials and services. Your expertise will support operations, optimize inventory control, and strengthen supplier relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's efficiency and growth through strategic procurement practices and effective vendor management. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement activities ensuring accurate purchase orders and timely delivery. Develop sourcing strategies by analyzing market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to secure the best value for the company. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, sales, and inventory management to align procurement plans with operation schedules. Monitor supplier performance through regular evaluations and manage vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply chain reliability. Oversee inventory management processes, including inventory control and supply chain coordination, to prevent stockouts or excess stock. Maintain comprehensive procurement records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Asset Management Experience Proven experience in procurement management within the oil field environment or similar. Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation, vendor management, and sourcing strategies. Excellent negotiation skills combined with a thorough understanding of pricing models and contract management principles. Prior experience working with logistics providers and managing supply chain risks is highly desirable. Ability to analyze data effectively to make informed purchasing decisions that support operational goals. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
