Summary:
Reviews loans for missing documents and audits documents to ensure they are compliant and meet all regulatory and credit policy requirements. Works closely with the warehouse banks and lenders to verify receipt of collateral and to collect any missing documents or documents needing corrections. Essential Duties and Responsibilities o Monitor and work emails received in the department's group email box. o Manages a pipeline of loans for various loan products. o Ensure conditions are cleared and loans are being purchased within expected SLAs. o Follow up with lenders every 24 hours until all documentation is received and conditions are cleared. o Verify that all collateral documentation is received and accurate at both warehouse banks. o Upload the daily PA's (purchase advice) to the Loan Operating System (LOS) and update the loan status and spreadsheet. o Review new loans and the conditions created to determine accuracy and correct as needed. o Audits loans for accuracy and completeness according to FHA and AH Lender guidelines. Conditions loans as necessary. o Assist Lenders with any questions related to their loans, company's guidelines, processes, and/or regulatory requirements. o Submits timely and accurate loan draw requests to the warehouse banks. o Assist with department projects assigned. o Take on additional responsibilities as needed. Skills/Qualifications 1+ years of prior mortgage experience, post-closing, processing, closing or underwriting preferred. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work when the needs of the business change. Communication with numerous individuals wherein courtesy, customer service, cooperation, and tact are essential. Consistent and reliable attendance is required. Efficiently work under strict timeframes Excellent communication skills. Will build and maintain strong working relationships with lenders to leverage their cooperation to expedite clearing of conditions and purchasing of loans. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, has a desire to learn and grow and the ability to multi-task with high productivity and minimal errors. Demonstrate strong inter-personal communication skills, with the ability to resolve issues through email, instant messaging and face to face conversations. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree strongly preferred
