Job Description

Our client located in Brattleboro, VT is looking for a Sr. Buyer/Planner to join their growing team! Your qualifications for the Sr.
Buyer/Planner position are as follows:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or high school diploma with 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage supplier relationships ERP proficiency Experience in regulated manufacturing, preferably aerospace or defense industry, is a plus Benefits you will receive as the Sr.
Buyer/Planner:
$75K-$90K/year, depending on experience Full-time, direct-hire opportunity For the Sr. Buyer/Planner position your duties will include: Foster strong relationships with new and existing suppliers; manage supplier performance to ensure delivery, quality, and cost commitments are met Implement purchasing decisions of raw materials, components, and supplies to support production schedules and optimize inventory levels Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align procurement activities with customer and business objectives Analyze market trends, supply risks, and cost drivers Mentor Buyer/Planner team on procurement and supply chain best practices Drive continuous improvement initiatives Other tasks as assigned Do you have strong purchasing and relationship-building experience?
