With the guidance of the Site Planning Specialist, the Planning and Procurement Associate is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work for planning and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. The Planning and Procurement Associate will also be the primary purchasing agent for the company under the supervision of the Department's Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements reflect the general details necessary to describe the major functions of this position and are not intended to be a detailed description of all the work/functions that may be required. Other duties may be assigned. Create and maintain production schedules, material movement, work assignments, and prioritize production orders for site optimization to meet customer agreed due dates. Have deep knowledge of the workings of the ERP system within the company and understand the correct flow of the business so to "back up" the Site Planning Specialist. Work closely with Departments to make sure that the company's supply needs are adequately met based on the production schedule needs. Alert Site Planning Specialist when material shortages or production problems risk causing delay in scheduling, production, and/or delivery. Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and value. Revise production schedules as required due to Sales changes, customer needs, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions. Develop and maintain supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance against KPIs (quality, delivery, cost) Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Maintain S&OP Steps process to ensure delivery of products on time. Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field OR equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability. Understanding of ERP system and Microsoft Office products (strong proficiency in Excel); Database knowledge and strong computer skills. 1 - 2 years previous experience, preferred Knowledge and experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred M-F, 1st Shift 8am-5pmSimilar jobs in Caledonia, WI
