Join our headquarters Supply Chain team where you will support material and supplier initiatives by coordinating closely with commodity managers, engineering, and suppliers to ensure efficient and timely execution of RFQs and cost-saving opportunities.
Your Sourcing Specialist Role:
Partner with Commodity Managers, Engineering, and Suppliers to support sourcing activities and ensure alignment on technical and commercial requirements Develop and assemble comprehensive RFQ packages, including part specifications, tooling requirements, volume projections, and technical drawings Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to approved suppliers and manage the end-to-end RFQ process Engage suppliers to confirm participation, clarify requirements, and establish expected quote turnaround timelines Proactively track and follow up on RFQs to ensure timely and complete supplier responses Serve as a liaison between suppliers, buyers, and engineering to resolve technical and commercial questions efficiently Support cost savings initiatives by completing and maintaining cost savings documentation and tracking tools Provide regular updates and reporting in sourcing and tracking meetings, highlighting status, risks, and opportunities What You Can Expect You can expect the professional freedom and personal responsibility that larger companies won't allow and smaller companies can't imagine. Requirements:
Recent grad or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain or a related field. Fast, top-of-class computer and web skills are required, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
ERP / IFS
experience is a plus. Ability to work independently with varying levels of supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality and sound judgment with customers and suppliers. Strong initiative, creativity, time management and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. Comfort identifying and executing process improvements. A bias for action and the work pace to match.
