Job Description

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Buyer specializing in commodity sourcing for procurement and supplier development.
Requirements:
5+ years in Purchasing/Procurement role Proficient in component specification and blueprint reading Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups) SAP experience Global vendor/supply chain experience Willingness to work overtime and travel
Preferred Skills:
BS Degree in Engineering, Business or related field 8+ years of experience
Responsibilities:
Source new commodity vendors and manage supplier negotiations Conduct data analysis and reporting for cost reduction strategies Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality and forecast demand Coordinate efforts to minimize purchasing/engineering costs
