Buyer / Planner - Racine, WI Area (On-site) Badger Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing precision manufacturing company in the Racine, WI area to hire a Buyer / Planner for a full-time, on-site opportunity. This is a highly visible role supporting both purchasing and production planning operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you enjoy balancing supplier management, inventory control, scheduling, and problem-solving-this is an opportunity where your work will directly impact production flow and customer delivery performance. ????

What You'll Be Doing:

???? Manage purchasing activities, supplier communication, and material availability ???? Review production schedules and convert demand into planned shop orders ???? Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance metrics ?? Coordinate with production supervisors to adjust schedules and priorities ????? Maintain ERP/MRP system accuracy including BOMs, routings, pricing, and lead times ???? Resolve shortages, late deliveries, non-conformances, and material-related issues ???? Partner with engineering, quality, production, and customer service teams to support operations and delivery goals ????

What You Bring:

2+ years of experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment Understanding of purchasing, scheduling, inventory, and supply chain flow Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced operation Experience supporting machining, tooling, or industrial manufacturing operations preferred Excel, communication, and organizational skills Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-through and attention to detail If you're someone who enjoys keeping operations moving, solving production challenges, and making a direct impact on manufacturing performance, we'd love to connect.
