Sourcing Specialist Snapshot of the Role As a Sourcing Specialist at Husco, you'll be at the center of innovation- partnering closely with engineering and suppliers to turn new product ideas into reality. You'll have ownership over sourcing decisions, close collaboration with engineering and suppliers, and the freedom to put your own stamp on high-impact sourcing decisions that support products serving communities around the globe. Join us! What You'll beDoing:
Lead sourcing and negotiation for new products: Own RFQs, supplier selection, and price negotiations for production components and tooling, supporting new product development from concept through launch Support prototype and pre-production sourcing: Partner with global supplier base to quote, negotiate, and manage prototype and pre-production components- ensuring competitive pricing, timely delivery, and smooth execution. Build strong supplier and cross-functional partnerships: Serve as a key liaison between suppliers, engineering, and purchasing to drive collaboration, manage performance, and achieve successful project outcomes.Category Management & Strategy:
Develop, implement, and lead short- and long-term category strategies aligned with evolving business needs. Partner with Advanced Engineering and Sales teams to stay ahead of technology trends and customer roadmaps. Oversee end-to-end supplier relationships and drive cross-functional collaboration to improve productivity, on-time delivery, and quality performance. Identify, recommend, and support the execution of supplier cost-reduction and value-improvement initiatives.What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a manufacturing environment is required. ERP system experience is required. Strong communication and organization skills are required. Authorized to work in the United States.What We Offer:
