Shipping /Receiving Delivery Driver Summary This position will be responsible for complete product delivery. This will consist of loading, unload, preparing, inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle, collecting payments if necessary, and following delivery driving routes and time schedules while also abiding by Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards. In addition, to ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients complaints. Verify piece count and product condition for all deliveries before wrapping pallet for shipping. 2. Separate shipment by product number. 3. Receive each purchase order and confirm our receiving matches packing slip. 4. Process all orders for item fulfillment and confirm to Bill of Lading. 5. Palletize respective to product weight and size for all orders requiring shipment. 6. Label each pallet with address information and turn in for freight scheduling. 7. Keep facilities clean as daily duties are assigned. 8. Pull orders and stage for will call or shipment same day. 9. Store all products received in their correct, assigned bin locations. 10. Perform equipment inspections every morning. 11. Assist where needed when others are out in order to maintain a high level of service. 12. Supervisory Responsibility This is not a supervisor position. Work Environment This job operates in company warehouse and on-road. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones, as well as driving equipment. Physical Demands Heavy lifting, driving, moving, filling, and packing are required. This would require the ability to manipulate product, stoop, perform close observations, lift objects, and ride and otherwise operate heavy machinery, bend or stand as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel This position will require some travel to be determined by the CEO or Board of Directors. Required Education and Experience Valid CDL Class A drivers license. 2 yrs exp. Required (ins) Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver. Good driving record with no traffic violations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. High School Diploma.
