Job Description

Job Description Support with logistics operations by placing bookings with the logistics provider that offers the best service and cost, based on market rates with a preferred agreement, in order to maintain optimal freight costs and contribute to maintaining competitive costs for imported products. General Activities Place bookings and keep records in internal control. Monitor with the logistics provider the delivery and loading of merchandise to ensure it departs on time and as planned. Follow up on maritime shipments according to the required dates. Register confirmed delivery and departure dates from the provider and forwarder, respectively, to keep the information updated. Make necessary modifications to the bookings according to logistical needs. Other activities as required by the position. Experience and Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in import/logistics. Bachelor's degree completed: Foreign Trade and Customs, International Business, International Trade and Customs, or related field. Intermediate to Advanced English. Proficient in Office Suite and GSuite. Honest, responsible, organized, and highly committed. Legally able to work in the U.S. In-person work in Mexicali, B.C.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday. Descripción Apoyar con la operación logística, realizando la colocación de los bookings al proveedor logístico con mejor servicio y costo, en base a las tarifas del mercado con convenio preferentemente, para mantener el costo óptimo del flete y contribuir a mantener costos competitivos en los productos de importación. Actividades Generales Colocar bookings y llevar registro en control interno. Monitorear con el proveedor logístico la entrega y carga de la mercancía para que zarpe en tiempo y forma. Dar seguimiento a los embarques marítimos conforme a las fechas requeridas. Realizar el registro de fechas de entrega y salida confirmadas por el proveedor y forwarder respectivamente para contar con la información actualizada. Realizar las modificaciones que se requieren en los bookings de acuerdo a las necesidades logísticas. Entre otras actividades que el puesto lo requiera. Experiencia y Requisitos Experiencia mínima de 1 año en área de importación/logística.
Licenciatura terminada:
Comercio Exterior y Aduanas, Negocios Internacionales, Comercio Internacional y Aduanas o afín. Inglés Intermedio - Avanzado. Dominio de Paquetería Office y GSuite. Honesto(a), responsable, organizado(a), con alto grado de compromiso. Autorizado (a) para trabajar en Estados Unidos. Trabajo presencial en la ciudad de Mexicali, B.C.
