Logistics Agent

We are an international freight and distribution company in Doral, Fl. We are looking for a Logistics Cargo Agent to join our team. We are looking for someone with basic knowledge of logistics, international freight forwarding, door-to-door shipments, consolidated shipments, and preferably experience with MAGAYA or other logistics software.

Job Requirements:

• Must speak and write in Spanish and English
• Logistics, freight forwarding, or courier cargo experience
• General knowledge of Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, SED, shipment documentation
• Experience with freight quotes
• Excellent customer service skills in writing, chat, telephone, and in-person A workday in this position consists of the following activities:
• Quote in-land freight shipments
• Quote foreign to foreign shipments
• Receive calls from customers who are requesting prices for international shipments, shipping status, or requesting that their merchandise be picked up or delivered
• Answer daily emails giving customers the status of their cargo
• Maintain communication with delivery agents and warehouse
• Maintain contact with customers to keep them updated on the status of their shipments Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and great organizational skills are important for this job.
