Job Summary This position reports to the Central Receiving Coordinator and will assist the Coordinator and assistant with the delivery of freight and packages to the campus and assist in clerical work. Sorts, inspects, logs, receives and delivers packages and other items to campus departments and offices. Will Occasionally receive purchase orders into the PeopleSoft system. Will operate a forklift to unload freight or load freight for returns. Delivery worker will operate a forklift, golf cart and state vehicle. Responsibilities Receiving & Inspecting Packages/Freight

• 60 Receives, inspects, and files documentation for packages and freight received.

Operates forklift to load and unload freight. Sorts, inspects, logs, receives, and delivers packages and other items to campus departments and offices. Assists the Central Receiving Coordinator and assistant with the delivery of freight and packages to the campus. Operates a forklift, golf cart, and state vehicle for deliveries. Other

• 8 Performs other duties as assigned. Assist Moving Services as needed to move furniture/equipment and set/breakdown events. Warehouse and Equipment Management
• 2 Keeps work area and warehouse orderly, clean, and safe. Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies. Administrative & Customer Service
• 30 Performs duties such as answering telephones and preparing mail correspondences.

Once trained, assist in receiving assets in the financial system. Works with internal and external customers. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; AND at least one year of experience. Required Experience One year of related delivery worker experience to include the handling and care of packages. Preferred Qualifications Additional Preferred Qualifications Forklift certified. Proposed Salary This position is a pay grade 4. The available salary range is $26,777.00 to $31,500.00 . Starting salary within this range is based on relevant years of experience.
