THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE

The Freight Analyst is responsible for maintaining and improving all aspects on the freight payment process. This individual works closely with carriers, service providers and many internal cross-functional teams to troubleshoot payment issues and deliver financial data. As part of the projects team, this individual will also have opportunities to assist in implementing new Logistics solutions and tools.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY

Manage all aspects of the freight payment process for roughly $20 million annually Analyze and identify trends within the process to ensure accuracy and timely payment. Process exception invoices and maintain on-time payment metrics Compile financial reporting for cross-functional partners weekly Work closely to carriers and service providers to ensure new and aged invoices are submitted and processed in a timely fashion. Seek to improve the current process with a strong focus on continuous improvement Assist in planning and executing the annual Transportation Partner Conference Create and maintain SOPs and best practice documents Assist on Logistics-related projects as needed

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS

Bachelor s degree required, business degree and financial analysis experience preferred, minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain. Microsoft Office and TMS proficiency required, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred. Working knowledge of SAP a plus. Must be comfortable learning new software as needed. Experience in process improvement and documentation. Needs to be a self-starter with an entrepreneurship spirit who can work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills with a strong eye for detail. Requires well-documented communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people at all levels. Able to communicate with vendors, carriers and distribution center associates on the telephone Able to maintain a professional image both in person, on the phone and in writing Willing and able to work flexible schedule, including overtime and/or weekends, when needed Flexibility in daily task assignments as assigned #LI-JB2 #LI-Hybrid The pay range for this position is $57,300.00 - $75,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Companys bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
