Commercial Drivers License Driver

Overview We are seeking a professional and dependable Commercial Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a semi. This role involves delivering freight efficiently while maintaining safety standards and providing excellent service to clients. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment. Execute route driving assignments accurately while adhering to schedules and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain proper documentation related to deliveries, logs, and vehicle maintenance reports. Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation activities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered on routes. Full time- 40+ hours per week. No Sundays. Home every night. Hourly pay. Requirements Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (manual transmission experience preferred). Proven experience in commercial driving, including delivery driver experience for freight or similar cargo. Knowledge of load & unload procedures and route planning skills. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to trucking operations and freight handling. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on assigned routes. Physical capability to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections as required. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; additional certifications may be preferred depending on the specific truck type or cargo handled.
