In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your enthusiasm for driving, attention to safety, and commitment to excellent service will ensure smooth logistics operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our supply chain, delivering essential goods across multiple routes with professionalism and care. Responsibilities Safely operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo. Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type being operated. Proven experience in truck driving, delivery driving, or related roles involving freight transportation. Ability to load & unload cargo safely using appropriate techniques and equipment. Strong knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices to optimize delivery times.
