Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing and Local Delivery

Brick River Cider Company is seeking a hard working, on-time person with a positive attitude. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and will regularly need to work with common warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jacks, stackers, banding and shrink wrapping equipment. You will be responsible for transporting products between our warehouse and production facility and occaisional local delivery to our distributor(s). You will participate in some general brewery labor as needed. We require you to be forklift certified, have a valid Class-B CDL (class 8 box trucks) a clean recent driving record and be able to pass a drug screen. You must have good basic reading and math skills in order to check shipping and receiving documentation against actual shipments and deliveries. You must be in good health, capable of spending large portions of the day standing in an environment that may be hold or cold and possibly wet. The ability to lift and carry 60lbs (small beer keg) and the ability to move 160lbs (large beer keg) with a dolly is required. The hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Friday for the first six weeks of employment (training period) with the goal of moving to 8:30am to 6:30pm Tuesday through Friday. This is an ideal schedule for someone interested in getting a full 40 hours per week in a 4 day on 3 day off schedule. The position is open to begin work immediately. Compensation based on experience up to $25 an hour plus eligibility in 90 days for company sponsored health insurance, along with 6 paid holidays and 7 working days per year of paid time off.
