Full Job Description Job Description:
Electric Motor Co. is looking for a dependable full-time Shipping, Receiving, and Delivery Person to join our team. This position is an important part of our daily operations and helps keep parts, motors, and customer orders moving in and out of the shop. The right person needs to be reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced shop environment. This job includes handling incoming and outgoing shipments, making local deliveries and pickups, checking in parts, keeping the shipping/receiving area organized, and helping support the shop and sales team when needed.
Job Duties Include:
  • Receive incoming freight, parts, motors, and supplies
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and customer orders
  • Make local pickups and deliveries
  • Load and unload motors, parts, and equipment
  • Check packing slips, invoices, and paperwork for accuracy
  • Keep shipping, receiving, and delivery areas clean and organized
  • Communicate with office, sales, and shop staff
  • Help track parts and customer orders
  • Assist with general shop support as needed
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must be dependable and show up on time
  • Must be able to lift, move, and handle heavy items safely
  • Forklift experience is required
  • Shipping and receiving experience is required
  • Delivery or warehouse experience is a plus
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Basic paperwork and computer skills are helpful About the
