Operations Support Associate

Maersk Ground Freight offers transportation services including FTL, LTL, brokerage, cross-border trucking, groupage, and sortation hubs, connecting warehouses and distribution networks through best-in-class operations and technology. The Opportunity We are seeking an Operations Support professional to join our team at our JFK Station in Inwood, NY. You will coordinate and execute freight movements across multiple transportation modes while working closely with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure efficiency and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery Inspect outbound freight and verify shipment accuracy Assign carriers and manage load tendering Communicate updates and resolve shipment issues Maintain accurate data in transportation systems Support quoting, costing, and invoicing Negotiate freight rates and build carrier relationships
Who We Are Looking For:
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills Excellent communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Comfortable in high-volume environments Tech-savvy with ability to learn systems quickly Ability to type at least 35 words per minute
Schedule Requirements:
Weekend availability required Days off: Wednesday and Thursday Rotating shifts: 5:00 AM

Compensation:

00 USD per hour The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and market conditions.
