This role is responsible for sourcing and booking carriers through DAT and other load boards, vetting carriers for compliance and fraud prevention, issuing rate confirmations and broker-carrier agreements, and coordinating freight movements from pickup through delivery. The ideal candidate has prior freight brokerage operations experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment. Experience with carrier onboarding, insurance verification, FMCSA compliance, and load coordination is required. Responsibilities Source and book carriers using DAT One and other load boards Negotiate freight rates and coordinate truckload shipments Vet and onboard carriers, including reviewing setup packets, insurance, and FMCSA authority Issue rate confirmations and broker-carrier agreements Monitor shipments and communicate with carriers, drivers, and customers Assist with fraud prevention and double-broker verification Coordinate time-sensitive and specialty freight, including hazmat/DG shipments when applicable Maintain accurate shipment and carrier records Support daily brokerage and logistics operations Skills Extensive experience with DAT freight platforms, freight brokerage, carrier sales, dispatch operations Understanding of freight carrier vetting and compliance procedures Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to multitask and work independently

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
