What you'll do Partner with freight forwarders to secure ocean/air quotes and bookings (FCL/LCL) Prepare export documentation (Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, IMO/IATA Dangerous Goods declarations, and other required documents) Support international payment workflows (wire transfer, credit card, and letters of credit) Coordinate with production and shipping to confirm product readiness and schedule carrier pickup Maintain accurate customer files, contacts, and shipping instructions Provide general administrative support to the export team and management as needed Requirements (what you bring) Export experience with a working understanding of international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology (PO through delivery) Knowledge of export compliance requirements, including Harmonized System (HS) / Schedule B classification 49 CFR, IATA, and IMDG certification (must have or obtain within 12 months of hire) Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft 365 Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stay focused in a high-demand environment Strong detail orientation Preferred (nice to have) Proficient in Shipping Solutions and Oracle NetSuite ERP Schaeffer Manufacturing is North America's oldest oil, grease, lubricant, fuel additive, crop enhancement and surfactant manufacturer.
