Job Summary Logistics Broker supports the coordination of freight between shippers and carriers. The broker will assist in booking loads, communicating with carriers, tracking shipments, and providing customer support. Key Responsibilities Assist in matching available freight with qualified carriers Communicate with carriers and customers via phone, email, and messaging systems Help negotiate freight rates under the guidance of senior brokers Track shipments from pickup to delivery and provide status updates Resolve basic issues related to delays, route changes, or documentation Maintain accurate shipment records in company systems Learn and follow transportation regulations and company procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Open deck (flatbed, step-deck, or specialized freight) experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills and willingness to learn logistics software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Skills & Traits Coachable and eager to learn Problem-solving mindset Time management and organizational skills Professional phone etiquette Ability to handle pressure and shifting priorities Work Environment Standard business hours with occasional after-hours communication Industry Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage Employment Type Full-time Base salary + commission
