Job Description
Position Summary:
The Pride Program Fulfillment Temp will work with the Membership Outreach team, under the leadership of the Associate Director, Events & Activations, to manage and fulfill Pride and event shipments to events nationwide. This position will also play an integral role in coordinating and maintaining a live inventory system, assisting with large-scale returns and restocking all materials. Occasional assisting with the Pride program's other day to day operations when needed may be required as well.PLEASE NOTE
This position is based out of our Washington, D.C. office and will require the candidate to work in the office from their first day. This position is not remote eligible. This is a six-month temporary position starting April 2026 and ending in October 2026.Position Responsibilities:
The Pride Fulfillment Temp will have important responsibilities from the beginning of their position, as well as miscellaneous assignments as they are needed including: Play an active role in fulfilling Pride shipments for events nationwide, ensuring quality control measures for all shipments leaving the building. Monitor the status of shipments to various events in the field, troubleshooting as necessary to ensure timely delivery. Organize and effectively manage the storage of materials. Manage an accurate inventory of all materials. Organize the receiving and restocking of materials returned from events. Provide weekly reports to the Events & Activations team on status of inventory, shipments, and general fulfillment operations Other duties as assigned.Position Qualifications:
Previous experience in fulfillment and shipping operations or retail preferred. Previous experience managing an inventory system preferred. Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office Apps and Google Drive Suite, with a particular emphasis on spreadsheets. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Professional and responsible manner. Personal interest in and commitment to LGBTQ+ rights is required. All positions at the Human Rights Campaign may require travel on a regular basis or periodically.
