In this vital role, you will support the daily operations of transportation brokerage services, ensuring seamless coordination between shippers, carriers, and clients. Your proactive approach will help optimize transportation planning, manage freight logistics, and foster strong customer relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in supply chain management and transportation sales within a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Duties Assist in coordinating transportation management activities, including dispatching and carrier selection to meet client delivery schedules Support account management efforts by maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and service requirements Utilize our ITS Dispatch system software, track shipments, and generate reports Aid in negotiating freight rates, contracts, and pricing with carriers to secure competitive terms, and setup of new Carriers. Work closely with Head Operation Help monitor compliance with FDA regulations and other industry standards related to freight handling and transportation planning Support inside sales activities by providing timely updates on shipment status and resolving customer inquiries efficiently Experience Prior experience or education in supply chain management, logistics, or transportation management preferred Knowledge of freight forwarding, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships through effective communication and problem-solving Experience with data entry, dispatching, and logistics planning is beneficial Understanding of transportation sales strategies, contracts, and freight pricing models preferred Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively Join us as a Transportation Broker Assistant and become a key player in delivering innovative logistics solutions!
