We serve a variety of industries with standard and custom products including water pumping, oil production-drill and refining controls, wastewater treatment, conveying, baggage conveying, handling, and more! Job Summary A freight shipping administrator plays a central role in ensuring that goods are transported efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulations. Their work spans coordination, documentation, scheduling, and customer service across the shipping process. Pay $20 -$24 Monday - Friday 7 am to 4 pm Responsibilities 1. Documentation and Compliance Prepare and manage bills of lading, customs declarations, and other shipping documents. Verify certificates and ensure compliance with international maritime or freight regulations (e.g., IMO, U.S. DOT). Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory inspections 2. Scheduling and Coordination Coordinate vessel or freight schedules, port arrivals/departures, and terminal bookings. Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and carriers to align shipments. Track and update shipment status in real time. 3. Customer Relations Respond to client inquiries, provide shipping updates, and resolve disputes. Negotiate rates and manage customer service expectations. 4. Logistics and Operations Support Oversee order processing, shipment tracking. Coordinate corrective actions for shipment failures or delays. Maintain master reporting sheets and shipping reports for internal and external stakeholders. 5. Technology and Data Management Use cargo tracking software to input, manage, and act on data. Ensure document digitization and system accuracy. 6. Problem-Solving and Crisis Management Address issues like delays, weather disruptions, or strikes. Implement solutions to minimize impact on delivery timelines. Key Skills Needed Strong organizational and time management abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Knowledge of shipping regulations and logistics processes.
