This role involves ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
HOME TIME EVERYDAY
Route hours are from 4:30am to 9:45am morning shift.
UNLOADING DELIVERIES
Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tractor-trailers. Execute route driving efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations. Unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with dispatchers to receive instructions and updates regarding routes and deliveries. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles. Experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities. Proven experience in freight handling and route driving. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with unloading freight. Strong attention to detail for safety inspections and compliance with all regulations. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
