Job Description

Job Overview:
SANTOSHI FREIGHT 1, LLC
is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inbound Freight Receiver to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming freight shipments, verifying delivery accuracy, inspecting goods for damage, and ensuring inventory records are updated correctly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and is committed to maintaining organized and efficient receiving procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect inbound freight shipments for accuracy and quality Verify packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documentation Unload trucks safely using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment Record incoming inventory into warehouse management systems Label, sort, and stage freight for storage or distribution Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatch teams regarding shipment status Identify damaged or missing items and report discrepancies promptly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in warehouse receiving, shipping, or logistics operations is an advantage Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs Basic computer and inventory system knowledge Forklift certification is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay:
$18.30 - $21.00 per hour
