Class A Delivery Drive

Summary:

Quest Engineering, Inc., an architectural casework manufacturer, is currently seeking an individual for a Class A Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for assigned deliveries and pick-up of merchandise, as well as assisting with shipping and receiving responsibilities when needed.

Department:

Logistics Reports to: Fleet Manager Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner. Maintains company vehicles, and performing preventative maintenance as need Picks up merchandise and invoices from warehouse/vendors. Delivers merchandise to customers in a timely manner. Ensures delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices. Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition. Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management. Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management. Returns credit merchandise with appropriate paperwork and informs management of delivery. Operate a forklift safely when needed (with proper certification). Maintain an orderly work area by systemically cleaning and conducting preventative maintenance throughout shift. Assists with stocking the shipping and receiving department to include lifting and carrying cartons and placing them on appropriate shelves. Reports overstock occurrences to management immediately. Fills delivery orders by obtaining the required merchandise and completing appropriate paperwork. Provides customer with receipt and/or credit form for merchandise to be picked up. Performs other related duties as assigned. Load and unload company vehicle as required. Perform other tasks/jobs assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Specifications/Requirements:

2+ years in a CDL Driving role Familiarity with using navigation and logging systems. Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving. Reliable and prompt. Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo as needed. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Certifications/Licenses:
