$77.40 per hour non-negotiable SUMMARY :
Under the direction of the Tribal Council ("Supervisor"), this position will primarily be responsible to oversee the strategic planning process, development, and growth of profitable new business opportunities and the Tribal Business Corporation's strategy. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities. Implement business development plans with assistance of Project Managers, General Managers, and Tribal Leadership Confer with Tribal Leadership and reviews all activities, business plans, and objectives to determine changes in operations of Tribal Enterprises Direct the preparation of directives from Tribal Leadership to business entities outlining policy or operational changes to be implemented Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options Resolve internal priorities Recommend equity investments Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners Execute by discovering and exploring business relevant opportunities Provide Tribal Leadership with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial strategic plans
Evaluate and determine Tribal resources for economic development planning SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct supervision of subordinates to include mentoring, coaching, and evaluating performance; hiring of employees; recommend transfer, reassignment, termination, and disciplinary actions. OTHER DUTIES

Strategic planning, business development, acquisition sourcing, government contracting, and due diligence Marketing, financial modeling, and developing infrastructure in support of a new business Strong MS Office skills including Excel modeling, Word and Power Point and Project Management Federal, State and Tribal laws pertaining to operation of an enterprise an Indian trust land Relevant Tribal laws and compacts, preferably Torres Martinez
Relevant and current Tribal, Federal, State and County employment laws, regulatory codes, personnel policies, processes, procedures, and standards A BI L I T Y TO
Work with people from diverse cultures, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and must always maintain cultural sensitivity Foster leadership, policy direction, program management, and administration Provide oversight for assigned program functions subject to applicable Federal, Tribal and State laws, regulations, policies and procedures Plan and direct others to accomplish complex major activities and report on operations and activities which are very broad in scope Communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing Gather facts, analyze information, draw sound conclusions, and adopt an effective course of action Demonstrate analytical skills including critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution techniques and consulting Prepare clear, concise, accurate comprehensive narrative and statistical reports and records Create and establish cooperative and effective working relationships with others
Work independently E DUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master of Business Administration preferred OR Bachelor's Degree required in Business Management or Marketing or related field, and minimum seven (7) years of demonstrated business development experience CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
To perform and to continue to be qualified for this position, the requirements listed below must be met at a time of hire or may be obtained within a specific amount of time depending on the position requirements. Costs for required certifications, licenses, and registration are to be covered by employee, unless offered by the Tribe. Requires driving in the course and scope of employment. Must have prior to hiring and maintain throughout employment a valid California Class C driver's license and insurability under the Tribe's vehicle insurance policy
Prior to hiring and continuously throughout employment must obtain a Torres Martinez Gaming License. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
