The CEO provides visionary leadership, oversees daily operations, leads fundraising and community engagement efforts, and fosters a culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement strategic plans that advance the mission, expand services, and ensure long-term sustainability.
Board Partnership & Governance:
Support and collaborate with the Board of Directors; provide regular reports; assist with governance best practices.
Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and compliance; ensure diversified revenue streams and fiscal responsibility.
Fundraising & Development:
Lead fundraising strategy including major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, and special events.
Program & Service Oversight:
Ensure high-quality, evidence-informed, peer-led programs that meet community needs.
Staff Leadership & Culture:
Recruit, develop, and retain talented staff; foster a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture.
Community Leadership & Advocacy:
Serve as a visible ambassador; build partnerships; advocate for improved mental health systems.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit or mission- driven organizations. Demonstrated success in fundraising and financial oversight. Strong communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills. Experience working with or reporting to a Board of Directors.
Preferred:
Advanced degree in nonprofit management, public administration, business, social work, counseling, law, or related field. Knowledge of mental health systems and community-based services. Lived experience with mental health conditions (self or family member) valued. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
