This key leadership role reflects the scale, complexity, and community impact of BBBS Twin Cities today. It is an exciting opportunity for a leader who is both visionary and grounded, someone who can pair a highly visible external presence with steady, effective internal leadership and build on a period of meaningful growth and transformation. For over a century, BBBS Twin Cities has been creating and supporting youth mentoring relationships that change lives. Serving more than 2,400 young people annually and consistently ranked in the top 10% of BBBS agencies nationwide, the organization is well-positioned with strong momentum, solid resources, and deep community connection. This search comes at a defining moment as BBBS Twin Cities looks to its next chapter. Working in close partnership with the Board and senior leadership team, the CEO will advance fundraising strategy, deepen relationships with donors and community partners, and bring greater alignment, clarity, and consistency across the organization, while sustaining the external credibility and community presence that define this institution. This role also carries national responsibility, with the CEO expected to actively engage and contribute within the broader Big Brothers Big Sisters network. This is an in-person role based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

QUALIFICATIONS 7

to 10 years of executive leadership experience, ideally within a mission-driven or community-centered organization of similar complexity Understanding of youth development and community impact, including mentorship, education, and the broader factors that influence long-term outcomes for young people Demonstrated ability to lead at a strategic level while empowering senior leaders to own their work Experience building, aligning, and developing high-performing leadership teams with clear accountability Strong relationship-building capability with credibility across board, staff, donors, and community stakeholders Experience advancing fundraising strategy, including cultivating and securing major gifts Ability to use data and insights to inform decision-making and strengthen impact communication

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
