Job Description
On behalf of our client, Hennepin Arts, CohenTaylor Executive Search Services, is partnering with them on the search for their next President / CEO. The President / CEO is a rare opportunity to lead one of the Midwest's premier performing arts organizations at a defining moment in its history. Following the acquisition of the historic Orpheum, State, and Pantages Theatres and the recent unification of Hennepin Arts, the organization is positioned to expand its impact as a cultural anchor for Minneapolis and a driving force in Minnesota's creative economy. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic organization that spans live performance, arts education, historic preservation, placemaking, and community engagement while helping shape the future of the Historic Hennepin Theatre District and downtown Minneapolis. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President / CEO will serve as the organization's chief executive, strategist, and ambassador. The successful candidate will work closely with board members, civic leaders, donors, artists, and community partners to advance the organization's vision, strengthen its long-term sustainability, support downtown revitalization, and expand opportunities for audiences and communities across Minnesota.
