General Manager/CEO - Owatonna Public Utilities (OPU)

$180k-$225k/Annually Position Description Owatonna Public Utilities (OPU) provides electricity, water, and natural gas to the Owatonna, Minnesota community and is seeking an experienced, visionary leader to serve as our next General Manager/CEO. At OPU, our culture isn't just aspirational-it's operational. Our vision, mission, and core values were built from the ground up through department listening sessions, with every employee contributing to the process. The General Manager/CEO reports to an appointed Board of Commissioners and is responsible for executing all board policies and directives. Under broad policy guidance from the Owatonna Public Utilities Commission, the General Manager leads the management and day-to-day operations of the utilities and OPU's strategic plan.
This role is responsible for:
