TeamMates Mentoring Program National Office (Lincoln, NE and Gretna, NE) Basic Function and Responsibility The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides strategic leadership to advance the mission, ensure long-term sustainability, and strengthen the impact of the TeamMates Mentoring Program. Working in partnership with the Program and Foundation Boards, the CEO sets organizational direction, ensures financial strength, and builds key external relationships. The CEO also serves as the organization's primary ambassador and supports fundraising efforts to sustain and grow the mission. Qualifications Demonstrated passion for youth, education, and community impact. Experience in nonprofit leadership, education, or mentoring initiatives. Proven success in strategic planning, organizational growth, and long-term sustainability. Strong financial acumen, including oversight of budgeting and resource planning. Experience supporting or leading fundraising and donor engagement efforts. Track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Ability to work effectively with multiple governing boards and diverse stakeholders. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in business, education, public administration, or related field preferred. Collaborative, servant leadership style that empowers others and builds organizational capacity. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills. Financial and operational insight with data-informed decision-making ability. Effective communication and public speaking skills. High integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment. Key Responsibilities • Serve as CEO, advancing the Mission, Vision, and Core Values while honoring the organization's founding legacy. Lead and execute organizational strategy in alignment with Board priorities Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable organizational culture. Partner with the Program and Foundation Boards to ensure strong governance and sustainability Ensure financial health through sound planning, oversight, and reporting Support and advance fundraising efforts in partnership with the Foundation Serve as primary external representative with donors, schools, and community partners Ensure high-quality, safe, and inclusive mentoring programs Build and maintain relationships with donors, schools, mentors, and community stakeholders.
