The Section created and continues to host the first neonatal intensive care unit in New Hampshire, the Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon. We seek candidates with the appetite and aptitude for leadership within a complex regional system for perinatal care. An emerging partnership with the Level

III NICU

at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, the largest population center in the state, will create a regional program in neonatology that will be a focus for the next Section Chief to guide. Teaching fellowship trainees in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, pediatric residents, and medical students are priorities of the Section. Appointment at The Geisel School of Medicine at a senior rank commensurate with portfolio is therefore expected. • Graduate of accredited medical school with 5 years of experience in health care leadership.
• Ability to relate to and effectively manage relationships with physicians, administrators, support staff and the general public with a high degree of tact and discretion.
• Proven communication and presentation skills. Ability to interact with providers, frontline staff and external stakeholders in small and large group venues.
• Licensed and Practicing physician in NH, with desire to continue active clinical practice. Required Licensure/Certifications
