  • Permanent status Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a small financial institutions overall operations, strategic direction, financial performance, and member experience.
This individual will work closely with the Board of Directors to support long-term growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and create a positive culture for both employees and members. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and execute strategic goals to support the credit union's growth and success. Oversee daily operations and ensure excellent service for members. Partner with the Board and Treasurer on budgeting, financial performance, investments, and planning. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including NCUA, BSA/AML, OFAC, and related requirements. Serve as the Credit Union's BSA and Compliance Officer. Lead, coach, and develop employees while fostering a positive, team-oriented workplace culture. Support lending activities including loan review, underwriting, collections, and member service needs when necessary. Build relationships with members, community partners, and business contacts to promote growth and strengthen community presence. Prepare for audits, examinations, and required regulatory reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in a financial institution, credit union, or banking environment. Executive leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of credit union operations, lending, compliance, and financial management. Experience with NCUA regulations and strategic planning preferred. CompuShare/CompuSource Systems experience is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to exceptional member service and team development.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
