Interim Chief Executive Officer Needed in Coquille, OR! The Position An Interim Chief Executive Officer is needed to provide executive leadership and operational oversight for a Critical Access Hospital. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this leader will oversee a team of 145 employees and 20 physicians. Key responsibilities include maintaining operational stability, supporting quality and regulatory compliance initiatives, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring a smooth leadership transition until a permanent CEO is in place. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader with previous hospital executive leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to engage physicians, employees, and community stakeholders. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Previous Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, or senior hospital leadership experience required within a Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare setting is required. $250,000 - $260,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
