Employment Type Contract To Hire Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Interim Chief Executive Officer for a mission-driven rural community health organization in North Bend, Oregon (Onsite).
POSITION OVERVIEW
This executive leadership role provides strategic direction for a rural health organization focused on delivering accessible, equitable, and patient-centered care to diverse and underserved populations. The CEO partners closely with the Board of Directors to guide organizational vision, strengthen governance, and ensure long-term operational and financial sustainability. This role oversees executive leadership functions while delegating day-to-day clinical, operational, and financial execution to senior leaders, ensuring alignment across all areas of service delivery.PERKS:

Provide executive oversight and leadership to ensure alignment with mission, strategic plan, and Board priorities Partner with the Board of Directors on governance, strategy, organizational performance, and compliance requirements Lead and support the executive team across clinical, operational, financial, and administrative functions Oversee financial sustainability efforts in collaboration with finance leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue diversification Serve as primary external representative to community partners, regulators, funders, and key stakeholders Champion organizational culture, workforce development, equity, and continuous quality improvementQUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated executive leadership experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or community-based organizations Strong understanding of healthcare operations, financial management, and organizational governance Experience working with or within federally regulated healthcare or similar compliance-driven environments preferred Proven ability to lead executive teams and collaborate effectively with Boards of Directors Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic decision-making skillsCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This role offers a pay rate of $100 - $115/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
