Job Description

Position Summary The Medical Bureau of Harrisburg is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization in achieving its mission and strategic goals. The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer, providing leadership in organizational management, fundraising, program development, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and staff leadership. The Medical Bureau is a 24/7 Acute Care Answering Service serving Health Care Systems, Physicians, Medical Providers and commercial businesses. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a track record of organizational growth, and a passion for making a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the organization's strategic plan. Partner with the Board of Directors to establish priorities and organizational goals. Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and community impact. Organizational Management Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure organizational effectiveness. Lead, mentor, and develop staff while fostering a positive workplace culture. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Financial Management Develop and manage the annual budget. Monitor financial performance and ensure fiscal responsibility. Provide regular financial and operational reports to the Board. Community & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the organization. Build partnerships with community leaders, government agencies, and strategic partners. Represent the organization at public events and industry meetings. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience. Proven experience managing budgets, operations, and teams. Strong relationship-building, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning initiatives. Preferred Bachelor's Degree Experience working with a Board of Directors. Background in nonprofit, healthcare, education, social services, or related sectors.
