About Us:
Lehigh Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance (LVACA): Home•NEW•Lehigh Valley Arts & Cultural Alliance We are a nonprofit 501 (c)3 organization that serves the array of artists and arts organizations integral to the life and vitality of the Lehigh Valley. We have an exciting full time, permanent opportunity available for an Executive Director to join our Team. You would work on a 'remote' basis Monday-Friday. There is local travel involved with this role. The Executive Director serves as the chief executive of LVACA and is responsible for the overall management, administration, and organizational performance of the organization in accordance with policies and strategic direction approved by the Board of Trustees ("Board"). The Executive Director reports to and is evaluated by the Board. The Board President serves as the primary liaison between the Director and the Board. The Director participates in an annual performance evaluation conducted by the Board.
Salary range:
$55K•65K/year
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic and Operational Leadership :
In partnership with the Board, develop and implement the organization's vision, strategic goals, and annual action plans.
Fundraising and Revenue Generation :
In collaboration with the Development Committee, lead and execute comprehensive fundraising and revenue strategies, including major gifts, corporate and governmental grants, special events, membership, sponsorships, earned revenue, and annual giving, to diversify and increase revenue.
Partnership Development :
Cultivate and steward strategic relationships with business leaders, corporate partners, arts organizations, government officials, and community stakeholders to advance the organization's mission and visibility.
Financial Management :
Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting; ensure sound fiscal management, appropriate internal controls, and compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements; and promote long-term financial sustainability.
Marketing and Visibility :
In collaboration with the Communications Committee, develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to strengthen the organization's public presence, visibility, and community engagement across traditional and digital platforms.
Staff Management :
Hire, supervise, evaluate, and mentor staff; foster a collaborative and accountable organizational culture; and serve as the primary liaison between staff and the Board and its committees.

Qualifications:
Experience:
At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit management, arts administration, business administration, or a related field, with demonstrated knowledge of and engagement in the arts and experience working effectively with a governing board.
Skills:
Strong financial management skills, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, and demonstrated success in fundraising and revenue development.
Education:
Master's degree in arts administration , community development, humanities, business, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and professional experience will be considered.

Demonstrated commitment to fostering strong partnerships between the arts and the broader arts, business and civic community. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Collaborative, transparent, and emotionally intelligent leadership style with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a governing board. Ability to lead organizational growth and navigate change in a small-staff environment.
