5/20/2026 Job Summary Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas (GSSWT) is seeking a forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as a strategic leader for the organization. This executive will shape and execute the Council's direction with energy, innovation, and a strong commitment to empowering EVERY girl. The CEO will oversee all aspects of operations, including community engagement, fundraising, membership, program development, operational effectiveness, and financial stewardship. This inspiring leader will bring cultural competency and a genuine connection to the communities served, including Hispanic/Latino communities. They will skillfully guide internal teams and external partnerships, building meaningful relationships across diverse communities and leading the organization with clarity, purpose, and a bold, future-focused perspective. Job Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressive executive leadership experience, with a preference for nonprofit leadership. They will bring a demonstrated track record of organizational impact, with the ability to clearly articulate specific, measurable outcomes achieved throughout their career, such as revenue growth, program scale, increased youth reach, or strengthened financial sustainability. This leader will be team-oriented, results-driven, and passionate about youth development, with the ability to lead change, address complex organizational challenges, and build resilience across teams and stakeholders. They should also be enthusiastic about engaging across the region, with the willingness to travel to meet with stakeholders, volunteers, and field staff.
