CEO - Hospital

A Critical Access Hospital in Eastern Washington is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead its 25-bed hospital and affiliated clinic network. The hospital is looking for a proven healthcare executive who can provide strong leadership, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires an individual who understands the unique challenges of rural healthcare and is willing to take a hands-on approach when needed. The CEO will oversee all hospital operations, work closely with the Board of Directors, support and mentor the executive leadership team, and help guide the long-term vision of the organization. The facility employs approximately 300 staff members, including 180 FTEs, and serves as a vital healthcare resource for the surrounding communities. Current organizational priorities include planning for a clinic replacement project and ongoing investments in facility improvements and equipment upgrades. Qualifications Executive leadership experience within a Critical Access Hospital or community-sized acute care hospital Strong operational, financial, and strategic planning experience Demonstrated success leading healthcare organizations through growth and change Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Understanding of rural healthcare challenges and opportunities Compensation & Benefits Salary ranging from $250,000 to nearly $375,000 based on experience Up to $20,000 in relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits package Community The hospital is located in a welcoming Eastern Washington farming community with a historic downtown, excellent schools, local festivals, and abundant outdoor recreation.
