This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, fleet management, environmental compliance, safety, team leadership, and overall plant efficiency across a rendering plant and two oil recovery/recycling facilities. This role is ideal for someone coming from the rendering, animal by-product processing, protein/fats production, waste management, food processing, or other logistics-heavy industrial manufacturing environments who thrives in a relationship-driven, operational leadership position. What You'll Be Doing Oversee daily operations across multiple processing and recycling facilities Lead plant leadership teams, transportation managers, and operational staff Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and process improvements Manage fleet operations with a strong focus on safety and cost control Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP, and related regulations Review operational and financial performance metrics regularly Partner closely with executive leadership on company initiatives and long-term planning Build strong internal relationships and foster a team-oriented culture Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development efforts Support customer retention and operational growth initiatives Serve as the bridge between executive leadership and operations teams What They're Looking For 5+ years of leadership experience within rendering, industrial processing, fleet-heavy operations, or related industries Strong multi-site plant operations experience Background leading large operational teams in a fast-paced environment Experience managing compliance, safety, logistics, and operational performance Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Comfortable being hands-on while also operating strategically Experience within rendering or animal by-product processing is highly preferred Compensation & Benefits Base salary targeting approximately $185K-$205K Bonus based on company and individual performance Relocation assistance available Medical coverage available Day 1 401(k) with 3% match Flexible PTO structure Apply now See more open positions at Prosimo.io
