Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our network of medical practices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare administration and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role is critical in ensuring that the practice runs efficiently while providing high-quality patient care. The Practice Manager will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing operational processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the smooth running of the practices, which includes supervising staff, ordering medical and office supplies, and resolving any operational issues by collaborating with existing core of Site Managers. Assure that staffing levels are appropriate to meet patient care needs. Close recruitment of new physicians, PA, and NP to meet increasing demands. Responsible for oversight of the schedules of physicians and office procedures Oversee patient satisfaction, and communicate with the patients, health plans, and contracted medical groups in event of complaint/grievance. Ensure that all records of the facility are maintained properly and are up-to-date. Supervise the financial operations of the practice by managing deposits, accounts payable and reconciling account information. Monitoring financial and accounting aspects of the practice's patient care activities. Overseeing and improving the billing and collection efforts of the practice. Overseeing and improving the scheduling activities of the practice to increase overall patient visits. Supervise other members of the practice's staff including hiring, training, coaching, delegating, disciplining and timely assessment of performance. Organizing and implementing operational efficiencies for maximal office productivity. Meet regularly and as needed with physicians and staff to ensure adequate communication regarding practice activities. Ensure all licenses and certifications for physicians, staff and facility are current according to appropriate licensure guidelines. Maintain compliance records and ensure timely training for HIPAA, OSHA, blood-borne pathogens and any other required courses of instruction. Hiring, training, supervising and evaluating different medical staff - from receptionists to medical billers. Overseeing bank deposits and implementing reconciliation processes Overseeing financial reporting and consolidating daily reporting across all offices including providing management reports for senior management Administrator for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) across all sites Managing inventory management protocols and overseeing purchasing including maintain vendor payment and records Supervise and coordinate IT and new deployment activities (includes telephone) Oversee HR activities with third-party company The ideal candidate is a highly engaged leader who will join our executive team and oversee all day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed well and performing efficiently and effectively while working closely with senior management and ownership to meet company objectives Qualifications Four-year undergraduate degree in business or healthcare management Masters in Business Administration (MBA) strongly preferred Minimum five years experience in healthcare management or administration Experience leading, guiding, and directing individuals and teams in a cooperative environment
