PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation PAD Position Overview:
Executes a significant part of functional strategy of centralized Imaging Services, Genetics and Pharmacy, to assure consistent high levels of performance in imaging care, service, and operations. Decisions are guided by Sutter Health strategy and objectives. Applies in-depth business acumen and commercial expertise to differentiate from the competition. Leads through multiple levels of management of diverse activities; translates and executes system strategy to achieve key business objectives. Collaborates with leadership, and leadership to provide direction and oversight to maintain and improve operational performance.Job Description:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.Bachelor's:
Business Administration (MBA), Health Care Administration (MHA) or Hospital Administration (MHA)TYPICAL EXPERIENCE

Demonstrates clinical proficiency and knowledge to effectively plan and coordinate patient care consistent with applicable standards and regulations. Understanding of clinical operations and workflows, and how operational process/workflow impacts other department operations. Working knowledge and thorough understanding of health care laws, licensing and accreditation requirements, and clinical standards of practice with the ability to interpret and implement applicable requirements to ensure operational compliance. Knowledge of emerging treads and regulatory changes, and how it impacts operations. Business acumen, demonstrating ability to establish goals and standards to meet long and short- term objectives and make sound business decisions. Demonstrates credible leadership presence with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to engage others. Demonstrates familiarity with various methods of care delivery and quality improvement concepts. Ability to build and establish effective working relationships with employees, peers and leaders. Demonstrates collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various stakeholders, and to build consensus. Demonstrates problem solving skills with the ability to handle difficult circumstances. Demonstrates commitment to providing exceptional customer service and responding to customer needs/requests in a prompt, courteous manner. Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees. Interpersonal and presentation skills to deliver presentations to a variety of audiences. Demonstrates understanding of financial planning, budgeting and the healthcare financial environment. Demonstrates effectiveness in achieving goals through individuals without having direct control of those resources. Demonstrates ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities. Demonstrates ability to work/interact with a diverse population while respecting cultural and linguistic differences and fostering an inclusive work environment. Pay Range is $244,441.60 to $391,102.40 / annual salary The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
