Overview We're seeking a Chief Operating Officer who want's to build and operate the best business practices in the robotics industry. This role will involve working directly with the executive team focusing on business activities including fundraising, HR, legal, operations, and compliance. You will have a rare opportunity to join a startup with huge potential upside and build a business from the ground up. We are looking for an extremely driven individual with high attention to detail. Company Description Feather Robotics, a VC-backed startup, is assembling a world-class team to build general-purpose robots. While competitors pursue end-to-end integration, Feather is relentlessly focused on creating the best labor platform, akin to Apple and Nvidia, for others to build, monetize, and scale on. Feather blends cutting-edge robotics and AI with speed, capital efficiency, and go-to-market innovation. In under six months, Feather became one of the fastest humanoid companies to revenue and production (vs 31 months for Figure).
Responsibilities:
Fundraising planning and execution. Resolve and manage HR conflicts. Build company HR docs including handbooks and standard procedures. Manage legal compliance working with our legal team. Manage accounting practices and reports with our accounting team. Ensure and manage business compliance. Payroll management. Workplace compliance and enforcement. Project management/Executive assistant work. Qualifications 5+ experience. Track record of raising capital for a startup ($5m minimum). Bachelors in Business (MBA preferred). Knowledge of C-Corp compliance requirements. Extremely organized. Accounting knowledge/excel. Project management and organization. Leadership and communication.
