Vice President of Operations

Sky Transport Solutions is continuing our rapid growth, and we are seeking a strategic Vice President (VP) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will help drive operational excellence, strengthen department performance, and support the long-term vision of the company. This role requires a strong leader who excels in execution, problem-solving, and cross-department collaboration. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational efficiency. Oversee daily operations, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase productivity and streamline workflow. Lead and mentor department supervisors, setting clear expectations and holding teams accountable for performance and deadlines. Develop and implement company-wide policies, processes, and systems that improve accuracy, compliance, and scalability. Collaborate with Accounting, HR, Compliance, and Operations to ensure seamless communication and operational flow. Analyze department data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Represent company leadership in high-level meetings, decision-making discussions, and external communications. Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and strategic forecasting alongside the executive team. Support employee development, including training, performance evaluations, and growth opportunities. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability at all organizational levels. Qualifications 5+ years leadership or senior management experience (transportation/logistics preferred but not required) Strong operational and organizational skills Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Experience managing cross-functional teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment High level of professionalism, adaptability, and leadership presence Why Join Us? Pay:

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
