Pequot Library is entering a bold and transformative new chapter. As the institution approaches America's 250th anniversary, the library is expanding its role as a cultural, educational, and civic gathering place, activating its nationally significant Special Collections through dynamic exhibitions, public programming, education initiatives, and strategic partnerships. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, ambitious, and visionary Chief Advancement Officer to help shape this next era of growth.
This is not a traditional fundraising role. It is a rare opportunity to build, lead, and help define the future of one of New England's most distinctive cultural institutions. Working closely with the Executive Director and an engaged Board of Trustees, the Chief Advancement Officer will serve as a key strategic partner in designing and driving a modern advancement operation that supports exhibitions, education and outreach, Special Collections, public programs, major events, and long-term institutional growth.
