Are you an entrepreneurial, battle-tested logistics executive who thrives at the intersection of high-growth strategy and daily operational execution? We are seeking a hands-on Operations Lead / VP of Operations to take full ownership of scaling our supply chain network across North America. Operating a 100% asset-light supply chain model, our warehousing, import logistics, domestic freight, and last-mile deliveries are fully outsourced to third-party partners. In this critical leadership role, you will own these vendor relationships end-to-end, aggressively managing costs, integrating newly acquired companies, and deploying cutting-edge AI and logistics technology to build a world-class, automated infrastructure.
Required Qualifications Executive Experience:
8+ years of progressive supply chain and logistics experience, with at least 3 years explicitly operating in a senior executive leadership role. Asset-Light & 3PL Expertise:
Proven mastery managing multiple 3PL warehouse facilities and inbound ocean/air logistics in an entirely asset-light infrastructure. Heavy LTL Freight Mastery:
Deep commercial knowledge of LTL freight structures, carrier lane negotiations, load planning, and cost optimization at scale. M&A Track Record:
Direct experience leading multi-site operational integrations through private equity, corporate mergers, acquisitions, or rapid multi-subsidiary business expansion. Tech-Forward Approach:
Genuine interest in and practical working knowledge of implementing modern technology and AI/ML tools applicable to supply chain automation. The "Builder" Mindset:
Entrepreneurial spirit-completely comfortable making decisions under pressure with incomplete data, navigating fast shifts, and building workflows from scratch. Mobility:
Absolute willingness to travel across the US and North American regions to partner with subsidiary locations. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience operating within a multi-subsidiary, holding company, or centralized corporate shared-services model. Experience with cross-border trade mechanics across the US, Mexico, and Canada. Industry exposure within fast-moving sectors such as food & beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), perishables, or seafood/proteins. Hands-on exposure to AI tools utilized for automated demand forecasting or freight optimization. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred, but not required. salary:

Lead the seamless operational onboarding of newly acquired companies into the broader North American logistics infrastructure. Architect and execute "integration playbooks" that consolidate freight lanes, merge 3PL footprints, and standardize systems while eliminating cost redundancies. 3PL Warehouse & Inventory Management:
Direct multiple third-party logistics (3PL) partners across the United States. Negotiate high-stakes contracts, set strict SLA frameworks, manage throughput commitments, and oversee automated cycle counting to maintain absolute inventory integrity. Domestic Freight & LTL Operations:
Lead outbound transportation with an emphasis on Less-than-Truckload (LTL) operations. Cultivate and optimize a carrier network across regional and national providers, consolidating multi-subsidiary freight volumes to unlock top-tier marketplace pricing. Import & Inbound Logistics:
Oversee all international inbound operations, encompassing ocean, air, and cross-border freight. Manage deep relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokers, ensuring flawless compliance with US Customs & Border Protection (CBP) regulations. P&L Ownership & Team Leadership:
Build, mentor, and hold accountable a lean, high-performing operations team. Own all North American operations P&L inputs, driving margin expansion through vendor discipline and overhead cost reductions.
